I used to actually like him. I thought he was a straight up guy, and defending a lot of what he said and did. Now.....well, I just can't think of anything good about him. Is there anything left about W. that I can respect.
Keep in mind, I was very Pro-Bush. I'm asking for real answers. He's screwed up the war, bombed immigration, and just keeps making worse and worse decisions!

Alexander P. Thank you for the reminders of those things, they are all VERY VERY good points, but how about how he is mishandling the war and pushing for amnesty? That isn't just liberal spin.....

He's pretty much burned all his bridges. I used to like him, too. I don't hate him now (yet), but he has really tried, in his ham-fisted way, to make us safer, but he's done real damage to the Constitution and our Republic.

This is more a response to Alexander P's answer but it also answers the question:
"We haven't had an attack since 9/11" Pardon me, but he still hasn't caught THAT guy yet either. And what were the Anthrax letters, a college prank? They still haven't caught the Olympic Bomber, either Alexander, the guy Richard Jewel got crucified for? The JFK fueline plot just goes to show "Fighting them THERE so we dont have to fight them HERE" doesn't work.
"He decreased unemployment and the stock market is way up what a hateful disgusitng person". Fewer people are on Unemployment Assistance, that is true. Mostyl though, it's because after 26 weeks or so the benefits run out. Once that happens, you are no longer counted as Unemployed, whether you're working or not. And the stock market? Big Oil, private security companies and Halliburton are doing great, all other stocks have been down and ARE down.
"Oh also he's against killing innocent babies what a satanic demon". He is? For 6 years, America had a Repubican White House, a Republican Senate and House of Reps, and a Republican majority in the Supreme Court. Why, if he's "against killing innocent babies" (of course you mean innocent AMERICAN babies; those heathen Iraqi babies don't count, right?) did he not overturn Roe vs Wade? OR at least diminish it? Curtail it? Why do you continue to believe this man will do what he says? It's been 6 years and the most cooperative government he or the Republican party would ever have, to overturn Roe vs Wade, and they never even TRIED. Why is that? Are yu really so sure he's against killing innocent babies?

He's not John Kerry. He's not Al Gore. He's not John Edwards. He's not Barry Obama. He's not Mrs. Bill Clinton.

That's five great things about him.

Here's some advice. Get yourself a philosophy. That way, you can vote for your beliefs instead of for a person, and you won't be so disappointed in the person.

If you supported going to Iraq, you still would, even if the President screwed it up. Based on your philosophy.

I have to say that I hated Bush and Cheney so much that as soon as the election was adjudicated I quit the Republican party after over forty years. My biggest regret is that nothing his administration has done has proven my feelings wrong. I'm a Vietnam Vet and I saw all the same 1960s rhetoric, divisiveness and "unpatriotism" accusations of anyone who didn't toe his administration's line. He learned absolutely nothing from recent history and has done more to degrade the USA in the eyes of the world than any president I can think of.

The only thing redeeming about Bush is the simple fact that he'll never get the chance to ruin the United States again since he's no longer able to run for President.

Nothing will redeem the rest of his sorry political and private life.
