That sounds like a UTI, get to a doctor fast, or if it is really bothersome and you've had it for awhile, go to the ER! They'll give you antibiotics and you will be fine when you take them. In the meantime, at the drugstore in the aisle where they sell pads and things like that there is something that Monistat makes, it's called Uristat. It's these pills that will help the burning go away, but NOT the infection and it turns your pee bright orange. When you go to the doctor, and if you start taking the Uristat, be sure to tell them because it can mess up the urinalysis (A nurse told me that).
Please don't hold off on seeing a doctor, a UTI can lead to a kidney infection if it is left untreated.

Sounds like your bladder muscles are having spasms. You should look into Pelvic Floor Dysfunction and Overactive Bladder.
There are many safe antisapsmodic they may help. You need to see a doctor.
That is burning feeling after peeing is from your pelvic muscles being tight. It sounds to me like your straining to go...and have retention (nothing much coming out). Because of the retention you may want to make sure that your not given too strong of an antispasmodic without some muscle relaxing therapy.
In the mean time...when you have that burning feeling....try a bath, warmth or cold on your pelvis. That should help to relax those pelvic muscles.

As what everybody said, you may be suffering from UTI. It may be due to lack of fluids especially water in your body, or infection after sexual intercourse. You should treat it as early as possible to avoid complications. If you don't have time to see a doctor yet, you can drink coconut juice it's one of the best medicine for UTI's and most of all drink lots of fluid. I hope this will help.

For now, get some relief with an over the counter drug containing phenazopyridine (Pyridium, Azo-standard). Take the drug according to package instructions (note it can turn urine orange). You will also need an antibiotic for the infection that it sounds like you have. Please see a doc, because this infection should go no further.

it's probably a UTI...urinary tract infection. i used to get those all the time. go to ur doctor, hell have you pee in a cup then give you some meds to get rid of it. its just something you get when bacteria gets into the urethra. if it gets really painful it really helps to run a warm bath, put in some baking soda and just lie in it.

You might have kidney stones or gall stones. You need see a Doctor and ask to make sure. This has happened to my mother before and if this is what is wrong, then they can use a lasier to dissolve them and it doesn't hurt as bad as surgery does.
