What is a "friend-with-benefits"? I have a friend who told me this, but I am not sure what she meant. So, can someone explain??

I am a guy, and my friend is a lady.

AS a woman I totally beleive that freinds with benefits can work! :) But then I am not a normal woman. I think more like a guy and usually have to nag my b-freind or used to nag my ex. But also as a woman I know that most other women can not handle something like that, they tend to get all possesive and stupid about when it comes to sex and relationships, they really ought to buck up and stop playing games, they want it just as much as you guys.

It can work, just do not ever let your gaurd down and let her start thinking it will lead to more, unless of course you want it to. Then just be very aware that she might not.

A friend with benefits is someone whom u don't have an established boyfriend or girlfriend relationship. It can consist of intercourse, which is the major part or jus kissing each other. Most of the time its sexual. Usually the person doesn't have feeling for the other. Be careful as a friend with benefits can hurt both of u. U or she may fall for someone else and if that happens then guess what, jealousy or anger may arise. If u must, stop this now and conserve ur friendship and respect each other.

A friend with benefits is a friend that you can sleep with, or make out with, or basically just use as a date or for someone to be physical with when need be but with no strings attached and without affecting the friendship. I have found that this never works, but to each his own, I suppose. Hope this cleared it up for you!

FWB are two people who agree to have a sexual relationship (thus the benefits) without actually committing to each other. Although it may sound all well and good to begin with somewhere along the line feelings of jealousy, mistrust etc. often rear there ugly heads and these relationships end up being like real relationships.

A friend with benefits is someone you have a normal friendship with and you have sex with, but no strings attached. Some people are horrified by the prospect, but for some of us it works beautifully.

A friend with beneifts would be someone who you have sex with on a regular basis without any commitment and without the title of an actual relationship.

It's also mostly someone who you try to avoid falling in love with, because then it wouldn't hold the same kind of relevance, if you will.

friends with benefits is where 2 people have sex with NO COMMITMENT. Some idiots think this is a great idea until she finds out she is pregnant and he finds out he has to pay child support then the only one getting screwed is the baby.

a friend with benefits is basically someone who is not quite your boyfriend or girlfriend, but you kiss and sometimes have sex with. It all depends on how many "benefits" you have.

A lot of girls think they can handle this type of relationship but the emotional connection usually causes huge problems in the end... steer clear unless sex is more important to you than she is.

It means that she's your friend, but you two also have sex, but no emotional attachment to the sex. I'm not sure if that can actually work between two people, but maybe...
