Yes you can. If you have them in your fire red, leaf green, emerald, ruby or sapphire, you can migrate them over to your diamond game via Pal Park.
If you haven't seen them in game, you can't search for them in the GTS system. Pokemon you can search in GTS = your pokedex. Exceptions are: Battle tower and fighting your friend on union room or wifi.

In pokemon diamond you can't get any of the old legendary pokemon, but if you passed the game(with national pokedex) and you have any of the old games (Ruby, Saphire, Emerald, Fire Red, and Leaf Green) you can passed the old legendary pokemons through via Pal Park.

come on, Pokemon is so lame now. It's like the series never stops!!!! Find another game or anime to take interest- there's plenty BETTER ones out there.
