I know this sounds dumb, but I really really really want a baby. I don't know why. Thing is, I'm waaay too young and unmarried and blah, blah, blah. So obviously I am *NOT* going to have one any time soon. How do I get this feeling to go away?

Think of preserving your youth because once you have a baby, then you will have to worry about its youth rather than your own. Then it will be time to start being an adult and growing up faster than you can handle. Enjoy your youth because you only experience it once, and when you're an adult you will better understand things and you will be able to care for a baby more easily. Things will be a lot more steady and just think of it this way. If you had a baby now it would be so hard to take care of it due to your age but as an adult, it is almost a piece of cake since it is what you're meant to do and you can handle it better, giving your baby a way better life. Just relax and enjoy life. If you really have the urge to care for something, raise a puppy or a cat, or babysit.

Hope I've helped!

Hun, I've had this feeling forever, since I was like 12, and now I'm 20. It's a woman thing, as well as a hormal thing. They say that if women don't have kids, they're body can go into a hormonal imbalance state and set them moody or even crazy. I've known this to be true with some relative in my family.

I felt the same way for a while when I was a teenager and at that point I went out and got a puppy. My parents screamed but it was less screaming than a baby would have gotten me.

I swear taking care of a puppy will help you cool your jets on a baby until you are ready for one.

Take care of a baby; the kind they give out in Health-Ed classes. Those things cry and piss you off.
Or a pregnancy suit could help.
Change a diaper. >.<

Offer to babysit for anyone that you know that has a toddler, and not just for a few hours. Let them go to dinner and a movie. The fifteenth time that they've yelled "NO!" at you and pulled your hair, thrown food across the room, or popped their diaper, you will start ot be glad you can go home to your nice, clean, quiet home.
