In Major League Baseball, no-hitters are rare, occurring about twice a season on average. About 233 no-hitters have been thrown in major league history. Only 17 of those 233 were perfect games. Multiple no-hitters have been thrown on the same day twice: Ted Breitenstein and Jim Hughes on April 22, 1898; and Dave Stewart and Fernando Valenzuela on June 29, 1990.

Don't know if they counted tonight's no hitter.
