Yes. As she frequently is, she is right on target.

Of course not. First her asserted facts are incorrect, in that quotas and set asides are largely a thing of the past in hiring and college admissions.
But even if it were true, her comparison is invalid. The Klan's racial views are to preserve white supremacy at the expense of non whites through oppression and intimidation. Affirmative action policies were designed to fight the legacy of white supremacy by forcing the consideration of oppressed minorities for employment and education opportunities. The Klan has a sinister purpose, the latter is to correct an injustice. You may disagree with the method, but it is outrageously polemic to suggest that it is essentially the same as the Klan. Especially when coming from someone who never suffered such oppression and basically denies that these injustices still exist. But then that is what Ann trades in. Outrageous polemics

people will not look or they would know that most of the klan are a big part of the democrat party. the only ones that get any recognition are the lunatics that are career criminals and nazis. but the silent society that make up the bulk of the klan are in many places in government and were elected as democrats.
i have been invited to join the klan and refused several times. the twist is the lie that the democrats want to help the minority with equal rights affirmative action and welfare. but the master plan is to keep them on the bottom and look like a hero when you do it.

Cassandra stated it perfectly. I understand that quotas are not perfect, but until there is no discrimination based on things like race, etc. (and we all know there still is), something needs to be in place to ensure equal opportunity. So until there is no discrimination, I think we just have to learn to put up with the trade-offs. Oh, and Ann Coulter is never correct about anything.

Ann Coulter thinks she's clever when she spins the truth to suit her purpose!
It's not clever.....hell it's not even difficult!
Like when she claimed WTC widows were celebrating and exploiting their husbands deaths for $$$$$!!!!! How repugnant and self-serving! The truth was those widows were trying to right wrongs!!!
Like when she claimed Cindy Sheehan was using her sons death to attain celebrity......when in truth Cindy Sheehan was moved to action with the death of her son and wanted answers from the man who sent her son to die!!
So to the original question.....the KKK wants to dominate and subjugate and enslave every race that isn't Aryan and liberals strive to ensure that every race-man-woman and child is fairly represented and protected equally under the law and with the rights they have within the constitution!!
So NO Ann Coulter is NOT correct!!

HAHAHA...
so... black people must like the klan then? since most are democrats?
yeah... it all makes a lot of sense...
it's really pretty sad that people can't see through the twisted logic she's implying here... she's clearly smarter than this, but I guess she knows she doesn't really have to apply herself to gain followers like those who have posted in support of her on here...
odd how the same people that can so easily see through Moore... stumble so easily over the same tricks when they agree with them...

I do not particularly care for Ann Coulter not because she is a Republican(?) but because she is just sooooo not interesting. By the way Conservatives champion a rich color-blind society.

Coulter's just angry that Bill Maher used her and tossed her bony-a$$ aside.
I'm sure if we surveyed your Klansmen we'd find that they all vote Republican.
Bush has a few minorities in his Cabinet since he believes they're easier to keep in line. Most minorities rightfully oppose Bush, but every group has a few traitors to their race.

There is no such thing as a color blind society. Prejudices and generalizations are breed here in the United States.
