Male diabetes patients suffer greatly from ED and typically they are overweight. But the question is it the weight or is it the diabetes is actually causing the problem. If you consider that most Americans are overweight and sex certainly has not slowed down you certainly can't say that's an absolute fact. But does a person that's maybe to overweight get last dates? does he suffer maybe with some self-esteem and this affects his ability to have an erection from a psychological standpoint?

ED affects a huge amount of many just wasn't talked about before. When Bob Dole became a spokesman for Viagra it sort of changed the acceptance in the number of men admitting that they had this problem increased (that doesn't mean that the actual problem increased it may have always been high)

Considering that new drugs are in the pipeline that will increase desire and are already being tested along with Viagra…. ED may not be a big problem for men in the future.
