The proper way to write "less than or equal to" is
<=
"greater than or equal to" is
>=

The domain of a function is all the inputs you can give it (x inputs, in this case) that yield a meaningful result. If you can think of any values of x that don't yield a real answer, those values are not in the domain.

The range of a function is all the outputs generated by the function. In this case, the range is all the values that f(x) can have.
