I remember when my baby slept in his big boy bed for the first time-seems like last week-now he's 13 and chasing girls!!!
Enjoy each age and special moment- there are many to be had. Don't spend too much time being sad about each passing age- enjoy the next one!!!

I'm not familiar with this type of experience since I'm way too young for the concept of kids, but I have experienced the same thing with my younger siblings and myself. Somehow I feel better when I review my past. Life just seems to progress at an unimaginable speed sometimes and too many good things change, even if the changes are good themselves. It's hard to define the feeling. It's almost like wanting to keep the past, present and future at the same time and the same level.

Awww...I hope he does well. Lord knows I didnt. I have a daybed and when I first got it I couldnt stay in it. One time I got up and my dad snapped at me so I ran back and dove headfirst into the bed and busted my nose on the headboard. I had to be taken to the emergency room because I swelled up and looked like a raccoon.

Know how you feel!!! It's the littlest things that they do when they're growing up and getting their own independence...you kinda feel like you're not needed anymore. But hang on to the young years ...wait til their in their late teens and move away from home!!!

I couldn't wait for my kids to,"grow up", now they are 16 and 19.
Enjoy your little one and enjoy all the sweet hugs and little kisses you can give him.
When they are teens, they are not as huggable and they don't sass back as much,or think they know it all.
I love them both just as much, but still nobody hugs sweeter then a youngster, 6 and under.

Oh congrats!! :) wow.
Kids never stop needing their parents, they become less reliant on them, but never stop needing them.
Even when he's 20+ he will turn to you for love when he's lonely and smiles when he's sad.
Even though he's in his big boy bed, i'm sure he will still like being tucked in.

For me that has been so very very long ago. Thinking back I truly can feel what you feel now. So I guess when you are my age you will to.
