HAve wood heater need to make own fire starters (block that you light and burns for 5 min or so)
They are white

use sawdust and finely shredded paper, mix these well. add melted wax. mix well pour into a square cake pan to about 1/2 inch thick. allow to set, then set pan in warm water for a few seconds and turn over it should pop right out . use a sharp knife and cut into small squares or shred it. clean up the mess with a good soap and hot water.

You want to make "tinder" for fireplaces.... You can dry pinecones and dip them with cinnamon candle wax... You can get kiln dried pine/wrapped or tied together with rafia or plain twine.. You can get the long fireplace matches and bundle those together...
