I know people from New York who don't think to highly of the man. He came out today with his ten point plan. Which included many of the things I mentioned.
He is making a lot of promises he can't keep.

The truth is simple. He wont do it.

The military is currently voluntary - he would have to start the draft again to make any significant increases. If you want to stop this problem we will have to stand up and force the government to keep our troops at home. If we dont have wars we wont have to worry about a big military.

Budget is several trillion and growing - he cant balance it - the feds stop printing the M3 report and we dont know how much green is out there anymore - you will see the effects of this as INFLATION will start to rise - this will happen very soon - be on the look out for it - if you want to stop this you will need to either back the money by a gold/silver stanard - or get rid of the federal reserve altogether.

The healthcare crisis is out of control because of medicare and medicaid. Yes, I know these are government programs to subsidize the healthcare - but anyonedealing with the government always chargers more then necessary - this will only increase the taxes paid to cover it and then the charges will increase accordingly - its a run away train - if you want to stop this you need to get government out of the insurance business and put i tin private hands where the market will drive it freely

Fiscal resposnibility to DC - you mean to the same people who cannot even balance their own checkbooks?? Half the people in congress bounce checks, how can you possibly expect them to do the fiscally correct thing - to make this happen you will need to shrink the size of government so small that there is little or no need for hardly anyone or anything in government - then you can put in some small private oversite comittee to handle the books.

If you want all this in th enext president - currently there is only one person on the ballot that can handle it.....this would be Ron Paul. He is th eonly candidate right now, that is saying any of this stuff and explaining how it can be fixed...everyone else is just talking out the side of their mouth.

Why would you say that? Have you actually followed his record? Underestimating him and making up things about him doesn't serve the democrats. It makes us look arrogant and ignorant.

State what you actually disagree with, why and back it up with facts, please, hopefully without the need to call our representatives (even republicans) names.

He'd do fine if he was President. He is a patriot like many others in this race. Our representatives are often treated very badly by people being seditious and putting their ideologies above their country.
