They were already broken when I found them. I'm just trying to put them back together again.

Confession, they say, is good for the soul...
Public confession, on the other hand, can be very bad for the reputation.
However, just for the exercise....
OK, as far as I can tell, I'm good on the first few. God is first in my life, I have not worshipped any "graven images", and I have not called myself by His name in vain...although there have been moments, specifically on the highway, when some idiot pulls a manuever that endangers his own life and the lives of other drivers, when some rather unangelic language has slipped out of my mouth.
I have, however, worked on Saturday, and I have also paid other people to work for me on Saturday. I think Jesus cleared that up, though, didn't He?
I haven't always honored my father and mother. As a kid, I pretty much did my own thing, and my parents didn't seem to be terribly concerned. As an adult, I have respected my parents, but I have not always honored them in my heart.
I have never killed anyone.
I have not committed adultery, but I have "lusted in my heart". however, since I'm a widow, "adultery" doesn't really apply, does it? Have I committed "fornication"? I'm afraid so. Since my husband died, I have had one sexual affair that lasted nearly three years, and one that didn't last nearly that long. I've dated alot of other older guys, but I'm rather picky about my bed partners.
I am not a thief....unless you count those paperclips I took home with me from work. So, OK, you got me...I have committed petty theft.
I don't really know enough about my neighbor's business to "bear false witness" against anyone...or any "witness" at all, for that matter...
Covet...OK, I have coveted. I have looked over the high fences of the rich, and wondered what it would be like, to live that way. I have envied them their beautiful homes, their swimming pools, their automobiles... But, generally, it doesn't last long. I'm pretty happy with what I've got...

Athough I do not adhere to Judaism or Christianity, I have managed to break all of them except Thou shalt not kill.

It's rather ethnocentric to assume that all would be adherents to one particular religion.
