No he will not be recognized as such...
I am very good at making future predictions so:
He will be recognized for having set the ground to oppose new global power hegemony in the making (China), so to preserved the dominant position of the US (Mostly North America in 20 years) against all odds...
In other words he will be seen as visionary... Well not him but the neocons... As for the Iraq meltdown... He would have help the US army to establish new tactical strategy to fight global terrorism....
Of course, I do not like to say this, but history is always a matter of perspective, and my job is to change perspectives... So here we are!!

No, you are for sure not the only one. Sad but true. I think he will certainly have a "special place" in history, and I rather doubt it will a good one.
Laura, on the other hand, will long be remembered as a very good First Lady.

I am not one of them.
There are alot of other presidents who have screwed up alot more than Bush has he's just the one we blame cause he's the one there to blame. He is an easy scapegoat for all problems.
