I never heard that one.

If you are emplying that whole "African-American" thing, well, there's also Mexican-American, Irish-American, Italian-American, Spanish-American, Jewish-American, Arabian-American, Native-American, European-American, Asian-American, Japanese-American.......

There is no excuse for being an ******. Noone wants to be called the N-Word. Being called 'black' (the opposite of us because we're so good and they're savages) isn't much better. Some people can't handle the fact that those darned African-Americans are waking up and claiming their place in society despite all the guns, drugs, vices, and afflictions all those Caucasians keep forcing on them. If you have a problem with those pesky blacks, why don't you encourage them to be better that the thugs that so many people are encouraging them to be.

Both of my parents are Jamaican. So I'd be considered Jamaican American or just Jamaican. Have you ever heard the term African AMERICAN or Black AMERICAN? Not every black person in America is American. Not every black person is American.

If they were born in the United States of America, they are American, also they could be naturalized citizens if they were born outside USA.

Why would you ask this question? Have you engaged in conversation with every Black person in America?

i don't know but a lot of races choose to refer to themselves as "african american" or "asian american." I don't think those people are really american because if they were they would answer just american.

I am not white, I am indian, but when people ask me what I am ( which is a stupid question anyway because obviously i'm human), i say "american" and I am insulted when someone refers to me as "indian american".

Where did you get this idea. That is such a gross generalization, it's almost comical. Why do you think they don't think of their selves as americans. Every ethnicity that occupies space in our nation are americans. Get over it.
