You don't need to be left handed (see Dan Miceli please). Secondly, I strongly suggest NOT throwing this pitch (see Tom Browning ::cringe::) What you are looking to do is create spin in a perpendicular direction to your curve ball. Same concept, as your throw roll your wrist in the opposite direction. Instead of turning your hand in over your elbow (virtually making a C) you need to turn you hand over, and out, making an upside down L ... its creepy. Be careful.

it's the same movement as throwing a curve ball only in reverse. the palm of your hand should be facing to the right, for a right handed pitcher, instead of the left for a curve ball when you release the ball. the pitch isn't utilized very much anymore in the big leagues.

YOU must must throw your wrist to the left.
Opp of curve ball for right hander
