They guy admitted he used the cream and came clean.

He never tested positive for steroids beyond that, so there's nothing for him to admit and nothing for me to forgive.

Give the guy a chance, people. He admitted to using the rub-in cream and has never, ever, EVER [did I say ever?] failed a steroid test. Can't baseball fans accept the fact that an athlete actually works hard for his paycheck?? He went out and paid for the best help that he could find all in the hopes that he could become the best at what he does. Then the media crys Steroids and all the other fans outside of SF jump on the bandwagon. Ridiculous.
It's just a witch hunt at this point. He's passed all the necessary tests but he'll always be guilty as long as there are discussions like this among any baseball circles.

Why can't I start a new bandwagon and spread the rumor that A-Rod is using steroids? Even if he passes all the tests that are thrown at him by his team and MLB, I know that he's juicing up...I just know it. And it must be true, because I read it on the internet somewhere.

C'mon guys give him a break. If you hate him because he makes your pitching staff look like the Pony League, then thats fine, but dont hate him because of something that you're going along with, just so you can hate him. If he's ever found guilty, then go ahead with the "I told you so's"...until then, just let the man play baseball.

Why would he need to apologize to people and admit to something that he never actually or purposefully used? I guess that people are still not educated enough to know the truth.

Why do people have a personal vendetta against Barry Bonds? If he supposedly took steroids, are the people of the US suffering injuries from the side effects?

He never had a positive test result for steroids from tests administered by MLB and the SF Giant's independent laboratories! Witnesses were there to certify them! How can people still insist he took them if the proof is not there?

It's total ignorance, jealousy and pure hate by fake baseball fans who do nothing in their lives other than start trouble.

Sorry, I'm not as forgiving as some. A man has the god-given talent to become a Major League baseball player making 18,000-dollars per "at bat". Millions of people don't make that in one year and Bonds gets it for just walking up to the plate - once.
The only reason I forgave August A. Busch (owner of the Cardinals at that time) for trading Steve Carlton in 1972 was because Carlton went on to become a great pitcher with the Phillies. And as we know, into the Hall of Fame.
A lot of Red Sox fans didn't forgive Harry Frieze for selling Babe Ruth to the Yankees in 1920.
And I know the Cubs' fans didn't forgive that organization for trading Lou Brock to the Cardinals for Ernie Broglio in 1964.
These are just three of the greatest mistakes teams made.

I'm not looking to forgive Bonds for anything. As far as I'm concerned he's just some guy I don't personally know playing a game for a living. He doesn't owe me an apology, nor does he owe baseball an apology. Last time I looked, he's never been found to break any rules.

No... I am a giant fan since I was born, but to lie in court and to continue to use them he doesn't deserve forgiveness, but deserves to be in the Hall Of Fame and recieve immortality along with being inducted. To recieve immortality you deserve to be judged on how good you did not how you acted on the field or off the field or even how you acted.

Also he did not admit to taking Growth enhancing steroids he addmited to taking a steroid that doesn't effect your abilities.

This coming from a Giant Fan

Everone has done things in our lives that were wrong. However if you undermine the rules to advance yourself when others do it by the rules. Then yes I can forgive him but he should not get credit for his hommers. Look at Pete Rose he made a mistake by gambling on baseball. But thereis nobody that played the game harder. If Barry Bonds is allowed to break the rules then why not Pete?

He doesn't need to apologize for me to continue saying he's one of the best to ever play the game. If he ever used steroids, it had no effect on my life whatsoever. He only hurt himself. I think it'd be a bit too self-righteous of me to require an apology from him. That, and I'd be disappointed that he backed down from the stance he's had throughout his career. Now's not the time for a flip-flop.

He's the one that has to live with himself. He needs to beg for fogiveness from the baseball writers since they are the ones that cast the Hall of Fame ballots. I think the public would be willing to forgive him if he hadn't lied about it for the last 5 years.

No,he did what he did. He cheated and he really doesn't deserve to pass Hank Aaron even though he has 8 more homeruns, and even though he admitted to steroids, that doesn't change anything.
