To the point where I have to wear 2 sports bras around my period...sometimes as long as 2 weeks before I get it this starts. I've asked so many people...including my doctor what to do about it and all i get is "change your diet" or "go on birth control." Well, I changed my diet to the point where it was so ridiculously boring...no salts, no caffeine, no candy and it still did nothing. I don't want to try birth control pills because I don't think that breast pain is a reason to be putting a pill to prevent pregnancy in my system...plus I have heard it can only make things worse. SO...anyone out there have the same problem? Any remedies?! PLEASE HELP ME!

P.S. I AM a bit larger breasted...D cup

I feel your pain. Big breasted ladies have to wear the highest quality bras for proper support. Continue to avoid caffeine beverages such as coffee, tea, cola drinks and chocolate. Also, I think you should ask for a referral to see a breast doctor. Yes, they do exist and because they specialize, they would quickly identify your problem. You might have cysts that need to be aspirated. Try this before taking birth control pills.

Sorry, I have never had that before. Must be aweful! The only thing that I know would help is getting colonics treatments. We all have toxins in our bodies, and unfortunately our bodies don't know how to get rid of them. Go to www.colonics.com to learn more about it. I swear by it. I have been getting the treatments myself and never had a single ailment since I started over 2 years ago.
You could also try getting more excersise and sitting in the sauna for as long as you can stand at the pool. I would do that at least twice a week to start, and then once a week.
Good luck.

It is a hormonal thign and has nothing to do with diet. I have the same problem and I just use pain relievers if it gets real bad. Unfortunately you may have to take the pill to retain a proper estrogen level which may stop the soreness. Sorry I can't help more

Birth control pills are also used to treat medical problems that are related to hormone imbalances for some women (this is what I use it for). Because of how bad this pain is I would recommend getting another opinion, preferably from a dr that does not share the same office of the dr that you currently see.

Hmmm I also have breast pains around my period, but nothing "HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE"... try some kind of pain killer that works for cramps or a natural remedy...
