I mean come on! I read on some blog where the ending had a lot of characters from previous episodes/seasons. Has anyone else read this? And what did you guys actually think of the ending? I could have been watching the NBA finals!

read this then u may think it was an awesome ending hope this helps

ok listen guys...u gotta wach the end of the episode again and wach closely...here is wat ull c... when tony walks into the diner he looks at himself sitting down at the table...u can be sure of this b/c he is wearing different clothes when he sits down...i dont no wtf that means...

in previous seasons it had been told to us that tony's dad
died just as his daughter (janus) walked in... if u watch closely u will see janus walk in shortly after tony sits down...this is used to
signify the possibility of that happening again...then u will c the sports store owner who tony destroyed walk in wearing a brown kinda hunting jacket... he is the guy that a couple seasons ago got into gambling trouble with tony and tony took over his store...

HE IS THE 1 WHO WACKS TONY...he comes in and sits down hunched over...hiding his eyes as not wanting to be noticed...and alas..."u probly dont even here it when it happens rite?" (this is bobby talking to tony in the 1st episode of the season...tony had this flashback as he was laying down in the last episode... there would be no reason to have had that in unless it had some huge significance)... and finally... tonys daughter walking in to c her dad get shot just as janus did so many years ago... u hear the bell of her walking in and then
blackness... nuthing...

it signifies the neverending cycle of the soprano family...aj will become tony...meadow will become janus...carmela will become livia (tonys mom)...and cycle of violence goes on and on and on....absolutlely amazing...i HATED the ending at first...but when i wached it again...and understood it...it is really the most amazing ending possible for the show...we really would not have been satisfied with the boring u c tony git shot ending... this was priceless...remember..this was not an action show...it was a drama about a FAMILY

I heard about that article, there wasn't anyone previously on the show that appeared in that last scene. I thought it was ok, Phil's death was hilarious, and Pauly with the cat was brilliant. The actual ending did leave a little to be desired. But Chase makes no apologies. As for the NBA Finals, by the time the Soprano's was over, the Cavs were down 30, so you really didn't miss much at all, and thats coming from a huge LeBron fan.

Well I've given it a lot of thought and I don't completely hate the ending. It probably really sucked for people who haven't been watching the Sopranos since the beginning. They were probably expecting a huge blood bath where Tony gets whacked. Or maybe thrown in jail. There were probably thousands of assumptions out there that people wanted to happen in the last episode. David Chase wanted the Soprano's to continue there life and have us guess at whats next. He's giving ever one a chance to make their own ending. For the last few days I've been pondering what might happen to Sil or Tony or even The cute blond girl Aj's messing around with." Check out the stems on Blondie!" For Chase to cause people to ponder about what might happen to the Sopranos weeks after the finale is pretty impressive.

I stay in Bloomfield, NJ and that i understand for a reality the actual mob in NJ love this instruct. And the actual MOB have been extremely PISSED at this lame ending besides. If I have been David Chase (the author of the Sopranos) i might in no way instruct my face in NJ returned. i does no longer be slightly shocked in the event that they went after him for actual. i will in no way EVER watch this instruct returned. all of us in NJ grew to become into and nonetheless is PISSED at this LAME ending! Explaining no longer something!!! you're meant to be a write? So then WRITE! You whack a million/2 of the lead characters and then in basic terms pass away us putting for what? So when you run out of Soprano $$$ you may then pitch the assumption to Hollywood to make a great reveal screen action picture to exploit this ineffective cow? no person will pass see it! we are ALL PISSED at you and could in no way forget THIS! i think of David Chase has created a clean capture word. rather of "bounce the Shark" How approximately "Soprano'd up" we are going to all understand what it ability.
