No, you can't even feel them. :) Just change it every 2-3 hours and you'll be just fine!

If you have bought your tampons that there is a pamphlet inside advising you on the risk of Toxic Shock Syndrome. It is a seriously problem that can occur when using a tampon. In order to reduce your risk make sure to change your tampon regularly and use the size needed. For example. don't use a super plus tampon so that you can leave it in all day. The very first time that you use one it might be uncomfortable but it will get better with practice of inserting it,etc...

No u should be fine as long as u change it regularly. Don't leave it in for 8+ hours or it can develop infection or Toxic Shock syndrome
* Follow the directions on package inserts when using tampons, diaphragms, or contraceptive sponges. Change your tampon at least every 8 hours, or use tampons for only part of the day. Do not leave your diaphragm or contraceptive sponge in for more than 12 to 18 hours.
* If you have had menstrual TSS, do not use tampons, barrier contraceptives (such as a diaphragm, cervical caps, or sponges), or an intrauterine device (IUD).
Its rare and u shouldn't even worry about it as long as u 'keep it clean'.

Nothing bad will happen when you're using a tampon properly and follow the instructions on the box, plus use common sense with hygiene.
There is TSS. But, the chance of you getting that is rare. You'll only get that if you're careless with not changing your tampons often enough. Don't leave it in over 8 hours. Judge your changing schedule on your flow and the absorbency tampon you're using.

Use the smallest absorbency ones you can, change them regularly, follow the care instructions on the package.
There is a very rare disease (TSS) that has been linked to tampon use, but its very rare and if you follow the directions you should be fine. The warnings tell you what to watch out for.

No but remember to wash your hand with soap before inserting it and change it around every 3 hours. You can tell it is ready to change when you tug on the string and it moves out slightly. It can also be slightly uncomfortable at first to use, especially if you are still a virgin. But practise makes perfect so don't feel to discouraged if you can't wear them at first.

Read the instructions on the box. Do it in front of the mirror the first time, it's helpful. Good luck,

The box will have directions inside them on insertion so follow them. They will probably have FAQ's too so they may help you. Used correctly, you will not feel them if they are inserted right. Good luck and enjoy the summer.

Change it regularly. If you keep it on too long or go to sleep with it on you can develop toxic shock syndrome which is fatal
