It's good you feel bad, that's work ethic. I like to set a minimum word count, this sometimes takes less than an hour and can be broken up over the day. If you want a 70 page first draft manuscript in less than two months try to reach 2000 words per day, you'll be done in 35 days.

In several ways i think you would. I love to travel, and I have been to many parts of the country. But, then again, wouldn't it be interesting watching an ordinary person living an ordinary life just like yours?

probably not...you'd read like the first page then turn your head in disgust because it's so boring and throw it out the window or trash or fireplace or something.
