It looks too bold and it literally screams at the reader. There's a place for it sometimes, but it's usually unnecessary. It makes the writer seem like a loud, obnoxious person.

the term is called "netiquette". its like ettiquette, but on the net. basically, i just means having manners when ur chatting online for example....capital letter implies that u r shouting.

In the "emailing/typing community", it is like you are yelling at the recipient or the email or whoever is reading.

because you use all caps to indicate that you're YELLING. if you use all caps just to talk, then people might think that you're trying to yell at them and they might get offended by that.
