Not all girls start the same time their moms do. My mom started at age 11 but I didn't start til age 13.
The only thing that you can do is wait. Some girls don't even start their period til age 16. If they don't start after that they then need to be evaluated by a dr to see what could be causing the problem.

Just because your mom and grandmother started their periods when they were 12 doesn't mean you should have. Each girl's body has it's own clock that tells it when it's time. I was almost 14 when I started my period and some girls don't start until even later. I understand it may be embarassing to not be as developed as some of your friends or as you think you should be, but give your body a chance to catch up with you.

Don't worry! Most girls start around the time their moms do, though I got my period when I was 11 and my mom did when she was 16! My friends mom got hers when she was 8 (crazy, I know) and my friend started when she was 14. There is absolutely nothing to worry about, until you are get to be 16 and still haven't gotten your period. Until then, let nature take it's course.

He could prescribe a low-dose hormone or another sort of medicine for you. There could be maximum of issues happening, you will no longer understand for confident till you spot a doctor. do no longer wait! If that's low hormones, you may get it dealt with quickly. in case you have widespread breast and pubic hair progression on your age, meaning in case you're developed relating to comparable to your lady pals, then you extremely won't prefer any medicine in any respect. in basic terms, see your well-being care expert quickly!

Never fear! You're just a late bloomer don't fret it. Your hormones just aren't ready yet. My mom didn't get hers until the middle of high school, my sister hasn't even had hers yet and she's going into sixth grade. UInfortunately, for me I had mine near the end of fifth grade... Every one is different, and trust me you don't really want it eigther. It can be such a pain sometimes!
Don't freak out you'll get it...eventually. Every girl does.
