Take any flight to DFW (Dallas-Fort Worth airport).
Take the north exit out of the airport.
Take highway TX-114 West for 17 miles. If you pass NASCAR heaven (aka Texas Motor Speedway) you just missed it.
Take Interstate 35W North for 177 miles to Oklahoma City (I-35W becomes I-35 after 14 miles)
Take Interstate 40 West for 257 miles - watch out that you don't run over a jackalope; they're an endangered species (but still might good eatin'!)
That should put you within spitting distance of Amarillo.
Or, if you're going by horseback and don't feel like taking them high-falootin' highways...
North 'til you smell it,
West 'til you step in it.

Was lucky enough to visit there 2 years ago and do you know what, they had never heard of Tony Christie or Peter Kaye, I was a wee bit dissapointed as I wanted to sing it, so I just went back to hotel and hugged my pillow, and Marie was not too bad though.
