the people??? the same morons who voted George Bush into office TWICE?????

Decisions regarding a war and military in-general shouldn't be left up to media-crazed morons.

Also...you say 70% oppose the Iraq war...well guess what...too freak'n late! That decision was made when the war was declared! I was against the war then! Unfortunately, we have to deal with it now. Leaving would create a situation that would be even worse. It's a mess and the easy answer for the moron-in-America is to just say "we're against it now". Too freak'n late idiots!

Well they never enforced the previous immigration bill. But
they sure were intent on passing this one. It's all about money
unfortunately. Big business, & big government still rule. I wish that the majority of Americans turn out in all future votings to voice their views loud and clear. No sitting at home and letting others get their votes in enabling those who introduced the bills get them thru.
It's time that our country is given back to the people. Not to
handfuls of reps we've voted in and want to do whatever
serves them best, to make money over and above their jobs.
I'm so ashamed for McCain. But he has disappointed me
in the past, as one who shelves responsibility and passes
the buck. But if the votes speak loud and clear in order for
reps to hold their long time jobs, then it's time we let our
votes speak. I think it's about time, don't you? Who said,
they can't be replaced? Now it's time for them to know it!

70% oppose the iraq war? I am sure 70% oppose the way the war is being handled but they don't oppose the war. If you ask loaded questions surely you might come up with 70% but it's not accurate.

You cannot compare the two.

We are already at war and have to stay the course for victory.

The immigration bill was proposed legislation that had not been enacted.

The poll can be spun many different ways. If it were true, then we would get some action besides democrat leaders pandering to their fringe.
