It is called Adenomyosis. Unfortunately, because Adenomyosis is inside the uterus, there isn't alot that can be done. I reccomend going to wikipedia and typing in Adenomyosis. It has alot of really good information. I have had this since I was 18 year old. I have been taking different medications and different therapies but nothing works forever. Interesting thing enough, the ONLY thing that I found that works (besides massive amounts of pain meds) is anti-depressants. I started taking them for post-partum depression but since I started taking them I have been pain-free. I'm not sure why. I wish you the best because everyone deserves to be pain free.

Hi Lil Squirt,
I have had Endometriosis since the early 1980's & every 2nd
year had to have Fibroids removed & Lab tested 4 maligant r
benign. A Hysterectomy was out of the question, as I was married & wanted children. Tried IVF Treatment, failed. I endured more pain than I thought possible!!! It ruined my marriage as, it was me not him with the problem. Endo does't
always occur from C Section, so if u do have kids r blessed! At age 46-48? & still not having lemon sized clots, I opted for a operation, signed 4 no bearing of kids, however @ 50 can't
remember the name, but r G.Y.N. will. A day procedure, under
anestic, they will remove any remaining fibroids be a Burning
Laser, as well with the Total Lining of Uteris with a Scope Laser & remove all that shoudn't be there. This is where your
pain is coming from! I recall an incision under my belly button
always and up r vagina. And you r right Endo can intefere with unusual places such as r bladder or intestinal wall. I'm glad to know that u will have this done at an early age instead
of suffering over 20 yrs. like I did. But I so, wanted children. I
had my period very few times since the operation, and hope it'll take effect right away for you. If by chance I have missed out on something, Please feel free to leave a message here for me. Hope all goes well & GYN will know the procedure.
"All the Best Lil Squirt"
P. S. If you need the name of procedure, let me know & I'll call
my Dr. after 9pm here, too lat"You'll soon be a new Women"

I have endometriosis but have talked to wome other women with endometriosis who have had the endometriosis go in to the abdominal cavity (this has to do with the peritoneum as well and is called an Allen Master's Window). As for the c-section scar, that is a very common place for women to get endo. The dr will clean out as much of the endo from there as possible by removing it and also trying to take down the scar tissue that has built up.
The dr if they have the experience to do it will clear out some of the peritoneum to confirm that the endo is there.
You mentioned that you were given options that don't sound very good to you so I would recommend getting another opinion.
A good place on the web to go where you can get additional information is thru this site: http://www.endocenter.org
On that site you will also find a link to the Yahoo Group run by them. It's an excellent source for infromation.

in case you will bypass so some distance as removing the wall textile on your side, evaluate leaving it and including a clean wall merely interior and insulating this. this is as low as 4 " thick if timber framing is used, smaller if metallic studs are used. The trick is this is going to no longer touch the prevailing wall, or the sound will flow for the period of the studs. it particularly is your ultimate guess so some distance as sound administration, and staggered studs or 2 separate wall systems are accepted fare in top high quality place of abode and house shape.
