i need to know how to find out what sites my son has been going to on his laptop. i already checked?

his history folder but he deleted everything. i have a suspision he is viewing porn and i would like to find out if this is true and i would like to try to stop it. i have already asked him about it but he got all quiet on me and i think he was lying. so if you can plz help that would be great.

some of u dont seem to understand, porn at his age is illegal, he is only 11 years old! not even a teen yet. and the laptop is in a public place but we cant look over his shoulder 24/7,...i heard there was a way to look at files which have a list of every site visited. anyone know what thats about?

I am quite sure that your son has alot of knowledge about computer and has cleaned his cookies, history and any saved jpg, photos.

Suggest that you use your search engine for a really good keylogger and install the software. Will capture every key that he presses down on his keyboard. You will have a complete log of every thing he has done. Your son will have no knowledge that a keylogger has been installed.

I don't know of any free keyloggers. Only can say it is well worth the cost, to protect your son from porn. Plus he is destroying his computer with trojans, viruses, spyware keyloggers, and adware. Without excellent state of the art antivirus technology your investment in your pc will be destroyed. Not to say that he is opening himself up for ID theft, and other criminal activities used by criminals waiting for people to go into porn sites.

Try going to search for files on his PC. Type in jpg. and then search. All files that are JPG format photos will show up. If he has been to porn sites and saved even one pic it will be there. You can also check out his cookies and see if any of them are from porn sites. Good Luck!

open my Comp, select Tools, Folder options vies tab, then show all folders. now open
C:\Documents and Settings\**USERNAME**\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
C:\Documents and Settings\**USERNAME**\Local Settings\Temp. Here is wher you can view all the stuff that has been viewed.
**Username** is what the profile's users name is. such as I log on to he admin account it would say
C:\Documents and Settings\administrator\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

If you have a Wireless roughter you can set up the fire wall and block sites, and have the roughter email you when he has accessed a blocked site..
I have a bunch of stuff blocked like Myspace, morpheous, limewire,AIM,napster... these sites are great for viruses/spyware
