Try Annihilator. Jeff Waters is the best thrash guitarist that you'll hear. The singers are so-so, but the music is top notch. Exodus is also very good. their latest is awesome.

Brazilian Metal- Try Sepultura, soulfly and ill nino. Ill Nino is more of the spanish/latin metal, but they're really good.

everyone has the brazillian bands coverd so im gonna go ahead and say Children of Bodom, Amon Amarath, and Cradle of Filth...all are ******* AMAZING live. also check out Lacuna Coil, they arent quite thrash but they are amazing. the chick who sings for them is awsome. also, arch enemy, dimmu borgor, bullet for my valentine (NOT emo, i swear, even though their name sounds like it), korpiklanni, and Finntroll

i wouldn't really know for the brazilian factor but i personally love drowning pool....bodies is a great song.

i dont know brazilian metal but i know normal deth metal
cradle of filth, 3 inches of blood, ankia, lordi, disturbed, hatebreed, dark throne and static-x is pretty good
