Well it could be a few different things. so here goes...

1. start
2. all programs
3. accessories
4. disk defragmenter

this may help if not try this

1. open internet explorer
2. at the top click on tools
3. click internet options
4. click delete cookies
5. click delete temp internet files
6. click delete history
7. apply and ok

now if that doesn't help then the final thing i can say is to run a virus scanner. also if you have programs on your computer that you do not use i suggest you removing them to save space. if after trying all of those, and still none work i would contact emachines or take it somewhere and have it wiped out

get Zone Alarm and make sure it's on anytime you are on the internet

you need an anti-virus program and a apy-bot one too!!!

my bf is a computer geek and he's rubbing off on me!! LOL!!

you need these things to keep your computer running smoothly!!!

scan for viruses and scan using spy-bot at the same time because viruses and worms are smart little buggers that hide anywhere and everywhere!!

you have to do these things if you have the internet. people who are new to the internet have a very high rate of getting their computers hacked into and having their identities stolen!!!

get advice from someone!! call your internet provider and they WILL help you!

I am about 99% sure that it is an adware or virus problem, goto Avast.com if you can and download that anti-virus, do a boot time scan, and if that doesnt show up with anything goto lavasoft.com and download ad-aware and see if that catches any little adware pieces in your computer
