I have a '68 Sportsman that you can have free. The outdrive is in good shape but the engine needs work.....trailer included.

Go right to your local Evinrude dealer. I regularly get everything I need for my 1964 5.5HP Evinrude Fisherman right at the dealer. You may be suprized at how many of them have brand new parts for some very old motors.

go to the boat yards and talk to some parts dudes or some mechanics ''squez" me technicians ........ get some info that this may or may not be the motor for you to try to rebuild ......then you can make a better informed decision to go hunting for 40 year old outboard motor parts that are rare ...........

ask the owner of a marina. they talk to everyone who own boats and know who to send you to. usually there are boat shops with all manner of parts
