Whoa! The possibilities are endless! Nothing, except paper napkins, is safe from my creative bursts!I live on a mountaintop, so sun dried wood is my favorite. I have always 'seen' faces or the implication of faces in lots of things. Like linoleum patterns, wood panelling, even dried watercolor splotches. Weird? Take a look, you'll see. Kinda like those hidden-eye pics, kind of stare/blur/see. Then I may carve a little to complete the image, then paint, if it needs it. People really seem to love it. Oh, I would use a ball point pen on my Grandma's watercolor splotches to breath life to the suggestions of images I found.
Try it, you will be surprised at what you'll find!

Considering that I make most of my art along side my 3 year old daughter, all my mediums are washable. A must! Washable crayons, poster paints, water colors, mud, chalk, catsup, glue, cotton balls, leaves, soap... cheese. Art can be a nice snack, too.

It depends, I use a WACOM Tablet and Photoshop CS for my graphic and comic art, but when I'm drawing things for fun I like to use Inks, Pencils, Buttons, Aluminum Foil, Highlighters...
You know, stuff like that ;)

oil pastels-always. they are great when yuo want to complete a piece efficiently and quickly...they cover a lot of ground and give you rich colour when you need it...only if you buy the right brand though.

Pastels all the way! I love the way they slip and slide across the canvas, and how I can rub the colors with my fingertips.
