assume you mean 2 times log (base x) of 1/16, plus 3, equals 7.

2 log[x] 1/16 + 3 = 7
2 log[x] 1/16 = 4
log[x] 1/16 = 2

which means x² = 1/16, so x = 1/4

That can't be answered, because log base anything of 1 is 0, so it means 0/16+3=7, or 3=7, and that just doesn't make sense.
Unless I'm misreading it.
