Do I have breast cancer?

I have firm lumps inside of both breasts.The first lump,which is in the right breast,has been there since I was 13 years old.The lump in my left breast,I've noticed,had been developing through my 15th year and now that I'm 16 years old it has grown to be the same size as the lump in my right breast.Both lumps are at the top of my breasts or above the nipple.Could the lumps be a sign of the possibility of my breasts increasing in size sometime in the future?I started my period when I was 13 years old and I have heard that breasts stop growing about four years after your first period so could that be the explanation?My breasts are 32 A and my mothers breast are 36B.I also have scoliosis(mild 18 degree curve) and my left rib cage is bigger than my right my left hip also jolts out and my left breast is slighty smaller and shaped differently than my right breast.Please help

you should definately go see a doctor they will most likely just do an ultrasound on your breasts to see if it is cancerous.my friend has the same thing, and it turned out to be excess tissue that they are going to remove.

If they're not sore and tender, then I don't think it is breast cancer. Does the cancer run in your family? If so, then you could go in for a mamogram. Usually when you do your own home examination, the breast cancer lumps should feel like tiny peas under the skin. I also have lumbs where you are describing, but they are just a bone. That could be what yours are, but you may want to get booked for a mamogram, as they can find breast cancer a lot faster than you would doing a home examination.

This is something you should see your doctor about. Its really good that you check you breast and are noticing the changes that you are having. this could just possibly be that there is excess tissue or fluid. Dont panic to much you are quite young and its not that common for someone your age, but because you have noticed the change then go to your doctor to put your mind at ease. You will need to definately make that appointment asap as you should never leave things like that for to long.

When I was your age through to my 20's I had very lumpy breasts. They are much less lumpy now I am older. And no, your breasts don't automatically stop growing after 4 years of getting periods. My breasts were always b or c cup until after I had my first child. Then I was c cup and later they developed into d and dd. It is common to have different sized breasts.

Even though a young woman's breasts naturally tend to be lumpy I would recommend having the dr check these lumps to make sure.

If these lumps feel hard to the touch let your dr know so that they can be aware of this as they examine your breasts.

First of all..relax...breast cancer at your age is very rare. Most likely it could be fibroma, benign cyst or just spasmodic muscles.

However, do follow up with your physician as there's always 'one in a million' thingie...but the things are stacked on your side in this being a benign stuff..

So relax and go see your doctor...

this could be an early stage of breast cancer but it also might have something to do with ur rib cage to, either way ask ur mom to set an appoint for u to go to the doctors recommend a girl doc tho! best of luck!!!!!!!!
