Thumbs-up is an act, instance, or gesture of assent, approval or the like. You cant "thumbs-uped" as there is no past tense for this.

Thumbs-down is an act or instance of dissent, disaproval, etc. There is also not "thumbs-downed" as it is an action. No past tense.

no i think you would say thumbs up. EG, I gave that person a thumbs up.

I gave that person a thumbs down.

Thumbs uped sounds bad, I thumbs uped him!
