I have PCOS also.
I was placed on birth control pills to assist in regulating my cycle. However, I had to come off due to high blood pressure. In any case, I tried to get pregnant for over 14 years. and I was told that I would never have children.
Shortly after coming off the pill, I conceived and had a beautiful, healthy baby.
Keep the faith, and perhaps try waiting for a while.
It will happen.

Well, you still have hope...get Metformin and Clomid and try that route, but ask your doctor first. They will see if that is good for you. Also start working out and maintain a healthy diet. All this can work.

Although that stuff didn't work for me and I do have PCOS. I took Met and Clomid and it made me sick...so I talked with my doctor and she took me off of that stuff. I walked a lot at night and changed my diet...4 months after getting off of Met and after the second time of taking Clomid I was pregnant and now I am having a little girl in August! Good luck to you and I will be sending baby dust your way!!!

i have pcos, it took me one month to naturally concieve my daughter, now i have been ttc 22 months, i have taken 2 rounds of provera (to start a period) and clomid (to induce ovulation). i would reccomend if you can't get pregnant after a year go to a fertility specialist, a lot of drs will prescribe drugs, but not do the follow ups to make sure it is the proper dosing. babydust to you and every other pcos lady who is ttc!

Have you been trying to get pregnant? Sometimes it doesn't cause much trouble. I had my first son right away, but am having difficulties now. My md put me on a low dose of metformin to regulate my cycle. I've only been on it 2 months, so not sure of the results yet. Best wishes!

Your doctor will need to help you with this. Many women who have PCOS get pregnat with the help of a skilled OB.

My husbands sister has it, and she has been trying for a child since she was 17, and she's 26. She has been told she will never have a child.
