My wife is due to give birth in around a month. We've chosen a name for her -

Rubix-Paralysis-Lumpkin-Bivalve-Lupin-Goering

This would be her first name, but i'm concerned it's a little long. However, we are keen on it. Any thoughts?

She'd certainly stand out on the school register.

I'm sorry...but please be at least conseiderate about your childs future...(lol) I never liked my name and always complained to my parents why I had this really ugly name (Vanessa) ppl said they liked it and I learned its not a ugly name....now do you want your daughter to be called Rubix-Paralysis-Lumpkin-Bivalv? think about it.... when I was obsessed about about male celbrities and chasing these unreachable dreams I would string my name together to the Celbrities name's....like Vanessa Bloom(Orlando Bloom) Vanessa Depp (Johnny Depp) or Vanessa Pitt(Brad Pitt) I would always go wow...that name sounds good together and I would be so Obsessed about that. And for a teenager obsessing and dreamiong about that was ok....like a girl can at least dream? Now tell me can you string your soon to be daughter's name and make it sound good? I know Im harsh but when your child grows a bit older she would go dreaming or being obsessed about a celebrity or a common crush? can you string her name together with another guys name? even her children won't be able to say her name until they can read! and you don't want her to keep nagging or complaining about her name?....ya thought so...lol

So this is just my opinion and my point of veiw so don't take it seriously if you get hurt or affended and if you are...sorry! just trying to help.

Can't you think of anything more original, there'll be at least four Rubix-Paralysis-Lumpkin-Bivalvs in her class.

No. No noononono. Im thirteen and If I had a long name like that I would kill myself and then get a name change. Rubix is kind of cool, but the rest sounds like a disease.

How awful! rubix reminds me of the rubix cube. The paralysis reminds me of someone that is paralized. You might as well name your kid a paralized lumpkin rubix cube. You should be ashamed.

Dicky, it's been quite a while hasn't it? Your baby will be PROUD to have such a fine pa pa as yourself who thought of such a glorius name. Now what name was that again? Could you run it by me one more time? Anyways to suit your fancy I have a middle name: Hospital Bill. I remember your MO I won't be chosen as I am not disgusted enough.

Are you serious? I hope your joking, why would you give a child a name like that? For one thing it is way too long and other children would make fun of her. How about a simpler name like:

Langston
Bree
Aubrey
Brennan
Camden
Leslie
Kyra
Corrine
Erin
Lauren
Lorelai

Good luck and congrats!
