My guy will probably get off once everyday, if not everyday everyother day, so a lot, would that make his sperm count go down at lot, enough to cause a problem for us ttc?

I just looked into this actually. If a man is healthy and young, his sperm count will be back up in about 24 hours. My hubby and I are trying to conceive our 2nd child, and I kept on hearing everyother day is when we should have sex, but that's only true if a man has a lower sperm count. Studies have shown that couples who have sex every other day have a 22% chance of conceiving, while couple who have sex everyday around ovulation have a 25% chance of conceiving. What we did the first time we were pregnant, and now again, is have sex every other day after my period stops, and then 3 or 4 days in a row starting a few days before ovulation (when I get a positive ovulation test) and then every other day after that until my period is due. Yes, it does, but it's not a problem unless he has a low sperm count in the first place or a lot of ineffective swimmers.

i read that if you have sex consecutively then his sperm count does go down. And that's why experts tell us to have sex every other day or wait 2-3 days.

It just depends if his sperm count is low then you would want to do it every other day.

Not sure, ask a doctor though. How many times have you tried to conceive, because that might be a little much, don't you think?
