Very very possible... consult your doctor to help you through the process because of the older age there are risk factors. Better to be adviced now than later.... also consider adoption????

Absolutely! It happens ALL the time. However, there are more risks. The older you are, the more your eggs have been subjected to. Since you are born with all the eggs you will ever have, your eggs age just like you do.
The best advice would be to test to make sure you and your significant other still have viable reproductive cells (sperm & egg) and then go from there. There are, however, no guarantees that you can get pregnant. Invitro may be necessary.

Half of women over 40 who want to get pregnant, can't without intervention. Sometimes it's simple things such as scarring from an infection which can be fixed.
So, I would try for 6 months first. If unsuccessful, then make an appointment with your ob/gyn and a repro specialist (often 3-6 months before you can get appointment). If you are successful before the repro appointment, you can always cancel.

I know many people who have gotten pregnant in their 40's. The chances of becoming pregnant decerease in your 40's and there is a higher chance of miscarriage, and chromosomal abnormaltiies, but many women in their 40's conceive and have normal babies. Just take your prenatals, and track ovulation so you have sex at the right time. Good luck.

My aunt got pregnant at 44. She had a hard time conceiving and finally at 44 she did it and just as long as you haven't gone through menopause you can get pregnant.
