It depends on how invasive the fibroids have become, and if they're going to interfere with future fertility (if this is an issue) and if they're causing you pain or misery. The most common treatment is surgical removal of the fibroid or growth, or if the fibroid is very large or deeply involved with the uterine wall, then a hysterectomy might be in order. But only your doctor will be able to tell for sure. Also, if you get the recommendation for a hysterectomy, you may want to get a 2nd or even a 3rd opinion.

I had this. My GYN did a Uterine Umbrella ablation procedure. I haven't had any problems since. I was put to sleep but out the same day and back to work in 3 days.
