Smelling Cotton Candy reminds me of going to carnivals and amusement parks and the circus (all great times). I even have cotton candy body spray and others comment that it reminds them of those things too.

Coconut. Sounds weird, but when I was 10 my fam went to vacation at Niagara Falls. I had just gotten some new cocomut-scented shampoo and conditioner. I used it everyday there and with all the mist and humidity, it really brought out the coconut scent in my hair. More than 20 years later, I still remember that Niagara Falls vacation when I smell coconut scented anything (sometimes I still buy that shampoo!)

It depends on our own experience and life as a child. For instance, Proust in is 'Rememberance of Things Past' stated his aunt's madeleine dipped in tea as being the taste and scent that brought back memories of his tender childhood.

The smell of tar on a hot day reminds me of Texas and the crisp smell of autumn air reminds me of New York (upstate). I really had a great childhood and alot of great memories that I will only hope for my child to have when she gets to be an adult.

Wild strawberries. They remind me of camp. During my childhood, I spent all the summer months at camp; and what beautiful memories they are. Camp fires, roasting winners and marshmallows, swimming in the clear lake, and being with family and friends.

Oh, and the smell of chlothes, when you leave them in a closed for years and years and years. With 4 older siblings you get a lot of clothes dumped on you. Wether you want it or not, cause you´re the last in the row.
