no victor french died first and then micheal landon found out he had cancer . As to the same type of cancer I dont think so . good luck . It is a shame cause they were both very talented actors .

I remember that show, but only because I loved Little House on the Prairie, and they were both stars on that show also.
According to google,
Michael Landon died 7/1/91
Victor French died 6/15/89
So, I guess you are right, they both died around the same time. I know Michael Landon had cancer. I am not sure about Victor French though.

They both died of cancer.. French had lung cancer and Landon had pancreatic cancer but....
Victor French died on June 15,1989
and
Michael Landon died on July 1, 1991

No, French died in 1989 and Landon died in 1991

Oh!! So that's what that tv show is called awsome! I don't remember it, but Im told it was my fave as a child.
