Really? My dad seems pretty happy...he's been married for 26 years come July 11th. And my fiance can't wait to get married to me and we've been together for a little over 4 years now. I guess it depends on the guy. Maybe some just aren't the "settling down" kind?

If men hate marriage, they wouldn't get married at all. Or the divorce rate would be higher than it already is...My husband's never complained. What are these women doing to the poor guys???

Usually it's because of commitment issues. Most men don't want to spend the rest of their lives with someone. They want to be alone and free. They don't want someone telling them what to do, and usually, what not to do. Marriage is a big choice most men aren't ready to make. I hope this answers your question.

I think it is because they don't want to be held responsible. They won't be able to take the easy way out by dumping someone if the going go tough. It means they have to be responsible and grow up.

To much responsibility that they are not equipped to handle if they have not had good examples or if they don't know how to treat a woman, rear their children, handle finances, etc. Most are lazy, selfish, bossy, irresponsible ....... not able to take care of themselves much less anyone else.

because the women want the wedding to be so pompous and over the top....and prbly b/c they feel they will have more restrictions when they're married....
