Music has brought me joy,and been an escape when I desperately needed one.Iron Maiden's Number of the beast and Duran Duran's Greatest hits were a great influence on me.

Beatles 'Revolver' (from 1966) and the Pretty Things 'S.F. Sorrow' (from 1968) albums are my two favorites, they made me realize music as an art form. Sgt. Pepper might be colory and poppy, but Revolver shows the push and shove that gets to the revelations that are achieved when art moves forward. And S.F. Sorrow by the Pretty Things is similar to the Who's 1969 'Tommy' but more psychedelic while most 1968 songs were turning towards a harder sound. I bought them at a record store like a year before CD's came down in price.

I know it sounds really stupid but I was driving down a highway going the limit of 75mph in heavy traffic. My front driver tire blow up and I knew I was goner spinning out of control and cars coming fast toward me. I at the time was listening to Jesus Take the Wheel by Carrie underwood it's a country song and I let go of the wheel and closed my eyes and repeated the words to the song over and out loud and next thing I know I was on the side and parked WOW what a awakening to have gone through. That changed my life and the album its on is Some Hearts by Carrie Underwood..

Throughout the years my taste in music has been expanding with new genres and artists. People I thought I would never listen to until one fateful day at a time I would feel like someone finally understood me and sang it to me through an awesome tune or made me feel like Im in my favorite movie! =P My favorite ablum (hopefully this counts) has to the Little Miss Sunshine soundtrack! It has helped me sort of overcome my "depressive moods" and feel happy inside and inspired to take Olive's courage and not care what anybody thinks of me. =)
