Don't aim for the typical "pre-law" major. First of all, there's no such thing. Secondly, the "traditional" ones leave you in a bad shape job-wise if you don't do law school.
Nowadays, specializing in an area of law is the most common path. So, pick a subject you like and would like to work in. Forget about what you think a law school would like to see. Law schools don't care what major you are. They don't even care what classes you took in college (unlike the medical field grad schools).
Employers after law school care what your major is cuz they want to see if you have any experience for the particular area of law they want to hire you for. English is an ok "traditional" pre-law type major cuz writing is very important to lawyers, but poly sci and psychology are pretty useless. Even moreso cuz law schools know they're easy majors so they expect really high GPAs.

There are very few schools that have a "prelaw degree." In most cases you have to have a major such as English or Business Administration, and then you are also in the prelaw track to be sure that you have the right courses to be prepared for LSATs and admission requirements. Pre Law is not a major.
And, it is a pretty good idea anyway. There is no part of business or government service where a knowledge of the law won't come in handy. If everyone knew a little about law then there would be a lot fewer problems with contracts and tort questions. People would have a better idea what their obligations are.
So, being prelaw doesnt prevent you from majoring in other areas, and it includes some useful knowledge. But of course, it is most useful if you go on to law school.

maximum universities do no longer supply a considerable in pre-regulation, in straightforward terms minors; as properly, you would be an fool to considerable in pre-regulation. finished your conventional ed and the pre-regulation minor and then be sure on a considerable: organization, Economics, well-being, Finance, Philosophy, Psychology, Political science, rather lots something that hobbies you. it somewhat is the way you get a bachelors. So extremely you have got a bachelor's in regardless of you p.c. and a minor in pre-regulation.

becoming a paralegal or legal secretary other than that pretty much nothing, unless you apply to a job that only requires a four year degree, in which you would then have, that is about it though.
