My mom decided it would be cool to get me an Ouija board for an early birthday present. So I've tried to see if it would work with my younger sister and my friends. Nothing really happened and we're desperate to have it work, any suggestions?

Ouija boards will not always work the 1st few times you work with them. You must remain serious when using the Ouija board...if you joke around or joke with it while trying to use it, you may not get any response at all or the spirit itself will play around with you by not giving you serious answers.
When using it with another person..if sitting on floor best is to be sitting indian style and rest each corner of the board on your legs by your knees..if sitting at table is best to sit so your legs are under the table so if the table was not there the board would be resting on your legs. Place your fingers very lightly on the pointer so you are barely touching it. If you have someone else there..have them ask the board a ? that you and the other user does not know the answer to. That way you can be sure that neither of you is "guiding" the other to the correct answer with the pointer. It will not usually work with 1 person...I would not recommend it.
I have always used mine in a fully lit room, sometimes during day - sometimes at night..never had candles or music going. It took a few times using it before we got our 1st response.
Alot of people say you release evil spirits into the world using it..I have experienced both gentle/kind and very strong spirits on the board. I find if you just treat the evil ones with stearness and show them respect they will inturn respect you as well. Let them know you won't tolerate their behavior. I have used it with many different people and never had anything bad happen to us till this day...I 1st started using one about 20 yrs ago.

I think nearly everybody who owns one has had a weird experience with theirs. Like you, "nothing special" happened the first time. But we were at the kitchen table with the radio on. The second time. We tried to create "atmosphere" and were in the dining room with just candle light and some soft intrumental music on a low volume. The thing started moving on the board with us only barely touching it with fingertips. And yes, it was "saying stuff" that spooked us. We still have the board somewhere in a closet. But we haven't ever used it since! You SHOULD try it again for sure! But just be prepared. I wasn't a "believer", still not sure if I believe. But I can say that I was weirded out by that!

I had a really scary experience with a ouija board. It just started working or a coincidence or something. We were so freaked out we threw it out and never talked about it again. Careful. Have Fun.

the 1st ouija board replaced into offered and created by hasbro. the newborn's toy making organization. yet you think of it somewhat is risky? this is like saying a barbie doll will homicide you on your sleep in case you dont comb her hair.

ok, well i love these so this should be an easy question for me.
1. have it sitting in your and friends lap or sitting on a table.
2. make sure all of you are lightly touching the cursor thing
3. turn off the lights (only if u have glow in the dark)
4. relax
5. ask your questions and have fun with it!

You REALLY don't want it to work at all...
I've never liked them. I don't recommend them to be used by anyone under the age of 18.
When used incorrectly, and they usually are, they can conjure up really nasty spirits/demons- and they're hard to return.

If you're going to try and make it work, do it outside. If you inadvertently unleash any nasties in the spirit world, you do not want them sitting in your home.

take my advice bin it.if you dont know what you are doing leave it well alone.you dont want to release anything that you cant get rid of.

i suggest not to use it! they are demonetized weather it works or not. its full of evil spirits and i have heard of ppl dying from them!
