Move to a place where you know movies are popular. My friend moved to Los Angeles,California from Missouri, and she set out to find her dream. She put in hundreds of resumes before she even got a call back, but it worked out for her. Her first job was on the set of The Price is Right. You just have to go where you know you can get a career in your field. I think that goes for anyone not just aspiring actresses.

Good luck following your dream.

well, i used to be a scenic artist. i freelanced in NYC for a while, and couldn't work any of the big shows (i.e. broadway, movie sets) unless i was in the scenic artist's union. if you want to work those, you'll probably need to look into unions. i'm not sure exactly what you mean by "crew" though - lighting? cameras? props? scenic? tey're all very different and have their own individual groups and contacts.

Start networking, if you have friends in TV or movies, ask them to help you get a job. Networking is the best way to make connections.
