The only way to prevent it, is to not act on your kindness.
This is truly not a choice, since those of us that care for others are always willing to help.
So, the key is quite simple:
When somebody tries, or does, take advantage of your kindness, it is time to leave that individual high and dry.
It is not right for people to use you, and those that do need to be punished!!!

If 5 persons take advantage of my kindness( If i do have some.) and 1 is NOT taking advantage , I'll continue as i am .I do not want to miss this ONE person.

MY heart has a function, that turns it from red to black.
when it's red it is kind, when others take advantage it goes black it stops the kindness, and lets nothing through.

Whine and complain like Paris Hilton, whenever someone asks you to do anything for them.......
example:
"I don't waaaaannnnaaaa anwser this questioooonnnn!!! It's stuuuuppppidddd!!!, I'm tooooooo tirrrrreeeeedddddd!!!

I don't....I'm always being taken advantage of for my kindness and generosity...But that's just who I am....

Try to set some sort of boundaries ahead of time so that they know not to cross any lines so to speak.
