I think it is misleading. I've seen it twice and attended the church of the minister, Rev. Michael for years. The sentiments are good but the reality is that just by thinking positively, say about money or good health, is not enough. You have to actually act.

In the case of money, you get more of it by practicing generosity. In the case of health, you get that by eating well, exercising, and taking good care of others. There is no real secret to it at all.

My Grandma read it and said it was good and read reads Joyce Meyer and Chicken Soup for Soul and books like that it'd be good and if Oprah talked about it than it probably had an inpact on your life because Oprah is a good judge of books and uplifting life changers.

I think that if you think bad thoughts you attract them to you. But you can't take it so seriously that you think you can actually change things by thought and not by taking action.

Watch The Key - a spoof of The Secret. It's pretty funny!

I haven't seen/read it but it sounds like quantum physics and mutable reality. Which I'm pretty sure is real to a certain extent. Maybe I should go check that one out.

i think you can change your life with positive thinking. but not JUST by thinking. what's in your mind informs your actions and behavior, which creates the change. prayer works in the same way.
it transforms the one who prays.
positive thinking changes the one who is thinking so that they are a different person who does different things that leads to different results. try it.
