drinking FROM the glass would be half empty as your emptying it
pouring INTO the glass would make it half full as your filling it

I always say it's half full...but that's not because I'm optimistic....it's just that when you pour a glass of something, you fill it half full...you don't empty it half full....so to me it's common sense that the glass it half full, LoL
