first of all you should stock up on max repel because there are alot of strong pokemon.
next go to the door where there is water to surf on.go past it.
then use rock climb (the hm you find on route 217 , above the hikers house).anyway.... go to the stairs. go up, left, and down you'll find an escape rope. go up the steps and keep going up,turn left, go up, turn right, go up, turn right,go down, go left,go up, and into the door. go into the stairs.
then go to the upper stair case , and into the glowing door.
use the stair case to dodge grass. ue rock climb. go into the grass and into the door go up , right down and into the hiny door. go down the stairs and rock climb to the left. go down the steps and into the cave to the right. keep elevating until you reach the shiny door.

just look on the Yahoo! search for "pokemon diamond/pearl" and look for a walkthrough... i did that for the entire game and i'm almost finished with it now (not just the elite four, they're a joke)
